第三個 rotation 已經接近尾聲
現在到了要決定進那個實驗室的時候了
心中本來已有初步的定見
卻在上星期五早上有了些變數
因為我第一個實驗室的老版 Scott Emr
寫了封信給我
希望我能加入他的實驗室
對於這位"細胞生物界大角"的愛戴
真的是讓我受寵若驚
所以我決定先約個時間好好跟他聊聊
再做最後的決定
不過且不論結果如何
至少令人感到振奮的是
我人雖在番邦
也能受到其他科學家的賞識
也算是沒有丟國家的臉
以下是他寄來的信：
Hi Bi,
I know you must be considering your future thesis plans as you come to an end of your lab rotations. I want to let you know that you are at the top of my list among the four students that have rotated in our lab. I would be delighted to work with you and have you join the Emr lab family. I will be glad to meet with you and discuss research projects as well as any lab issues or concerns you may have.You will be a success wherever you decide to go.
